Vidya balan was born on 01 January 1979 in Bombay ( Present day Mumbai). P. R. Balan and Saraswathy Balan are the parents of Vidya balan. Her father is the executive vice-president of Digicable and mother is a homemaker. Vidya's film debut came with the Bengali film Bhalo Theko (2003), a drama directed by Goutam Halder. First film in Bollywood is "Parineeta" in 2005 with Saif Ali Khan and Sanjay dutt. Vidya balan got married in 14 Decemeber 2012 with Siddarth Roy Kapur.
